We are looking for guardian homes!!! It is a kind of 'dog-sharing' arrangement where we will retain ownership of the dog for a period of years, usually 2-6, during which the dog lives with the guardians as their family pet. She will come to our house for breeding, and to have puppies, but other than that she will live with her guardians. We will pay for all expenses related to breeding, the guardians pay only for expenses related to daily upkeep. This program will allow our puppy to live her life as a pampered pet, and allows us to have genetic diversity in our breeding program, that would otherwise be very limited by the number of dogs we are able to care for well at home. At the end of the contract period, we will pay to have the dog neutered/spayed, and ownership will be transferred to the guardians.
