Description:
This position is responsible for identifying diagnoses/procedures, and coding diagnostic and operative information from the medical record using ICD-9-CM, CPT, HCPCS level 2, Uniform Hospital Discharge Data Set, Medicare guidelines and other appropriate classification systems. You may also be reviewing DRG discrepancies from the fiscal intermediary to ensure the appropriate per case DRG assignment.

2+ continuous years of hospital coding experience in Inpatient, Outpatient, PSC, or HCC coding.
CCS, RHIT or RHIA certifications
