Stan (Needs Foster)'s story
For Adoption:
Stan is 15 months old and has been in a foster home for a few months and has progressed really well! His foster home was amazing and he has really opened up to new people. He is very trainable, and knows some basic commands like sit and giving his paw. He is fantastic with other dogs. He is an all around great dog, but needs an understanding and experienced owner who is ok with him being shy around new people and fearful of men. A quiet home with a female owner who likes to go on daily walks would be perfect. Having another confident dog companion would be a plus. There is no adoption fee, but the rescue does require an approved application. Stan is in TN currently and needs a foster or an adopter. His foster home in TN has several other dogs and can not give him the time he needs. Maude, Blanche and Rose are still desperately waiting for a foster home or an adopter. 
These 20 pups were rescued in TN in April of 2018. Six 11 month old pups, six 4 month old pups, and seven 8 week old pups. The pups pictured are the 11 month old litter. There are 5 females and 1 male and they have all been spayed and neutered and are in a foster home. The owners are keeping the mom of the youngest litter pictured. She is now spayed! The owners told us that the mom to the 11 month old litter was the same as the 4 month old litter. All of them were living outside. The youngest pups were being kept in a tiny muddy pen. The 4 month old pups were running at large, and were found with their dead mother who ran into the road to protect them. The 11 month old litter was in a muddy fenced pen with no cover; just a tiny dog house. It was pitiful.
