Blaze's story
For those of you who don't know this special boy, this is Blaze. We may never know his full story but we do know that whatever the full story of his past it is a sad one. A caring citizen found this boy roaming the streets and contacted animal control. This boy was never claimed so he came to our rescue. The vet says this boy was severely malnourished and has been for a while more than likely. Because of this his bones and body did not get the proper nutrition they needed when he was growing. As a result he does struggle with going up steps and his malnourishment has effected his eyes. He's not blind but does have a hard time seeing. We are hoping someone will fall in love with him and his story and consider adopting a special needs dog. He is on a special vitamin blend to help get him where he needs to be. It is affordable and his new family would need to be able to continue this. He is already making improvements and the vet feels his condition will improve more over time. So his past is dark but his future is bright. He is a very sweet boy and good with dogs and kids and is playful. even though he has every reason to mistrust people he doesn'.
