Gracie's story
You may recognize our next cutie pie from another Facebook page. Lovely Gracie was found as a stray and was brought to the shelter in hopes of finding her family. After she arrived, we instantly knew that her hard, swollen belly could only mean one thing. We rushed her to our vet and got the happy news that she was very pregnant and would be due very soon! Gracie was put into a foster home the same day and the very next morning she gave birth to three healthy and beautiful kittens!
Gracie has since been in her foster home and raised her darling kittens until they were ready to find their new homes (all three have since been adopted!). She is now fully vetted and ready to start her new life with her very own family! Gracie's foster family has nothing but wonderful things to say about her personality! Here's what her foster dad had to say; "At 7.5 pounds and just over 1 year old, she is and will always be a small cat. However, she is unfazed by loud noises, enjoys spending time with her guardians, and likes other cats, even putting up with the bullies we have. She is also quite vocal when she wants attention and she loves curling up in your lap and making biscuits!" Gracie is a wonderfully loving cat and we can't wait to unite her with her new furever family!
Gracie has been spayed, microchipped, de-wormed, is current on her yearly vaccines, and has tested FIV and FeLv negative. Her adoption fee is $40 while the Home for the Holidays Adoption Promotion is under way. After the promotion ends, it will return to the usual $80. Gracie is currently in her quieter, and less crowded, foster home so if you would like to meet this little angel, please contact the shelter and we'll happily arrange a Meet-and-Greet with potential adopters!
