The Ronald (f) Domestic Shorthair Senior Female in Memphis, Tennessee
Description:
My story
Ronnie or The Ronald as we playfully call her was adopted from a local high kill shelter as a kitten. A child in that home had severe allergies to cats unbeknownst to the family when they adopted her. The child ended up in an ER in respiratory distress. The family did not want Ronnie to go back to the shelter where they feared she would not be adopted, and be killed, so we took her in. Ronnie is a quirky girl who has soft fur that feels like mink. She loves to drink from the faucet in the sink, and can be a talker. She is a tiny girl. She weighs only around 5 pounds. She is about the size of a 6-9 months old kitten. What she lacks in size, she makes up for in heart. She's a true sweetheart!Special Needs: The Ronald (f) is allergic to fleas. She also has a reaction to topical anti-flea meds like Revolution & Advantage Multi. It causes her fur to fall out. For flea control she will need the oral meds like Capstar et al
If you have any questions or would like to adopt The Ronald (f), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
