Junior Graphic Designer & Web Developer

Our growth has created an opening for a Junior Graphic Designer & Web Developer to assist our lead web developer.

Position: Junior Graphic Designer & Web Developer
Location: Americanlisted Inc., Redwood City

• Design classified websites, social media, blogs, PPC landing pages, and any promotions related to the on-line classifieds market.
• Implement creative knowledge of site usability, web standards, and user-centric site design
• Excellent Adobe Photoshop skills (knowledge of best practices, including the use of smart objects, placed files, symbols, adjustment layers and layer styles)
• Excellent typography and layout skills
• Ability to self-manage and deliver products on an aggressive schedule
• Ability to hand-code HTML/CSS
• Video production / motion graphics experience a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Delivers on time and gets things done
• Knowledge of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and ActionScript
• The ability to work on many projects simultaneously
• The ability to take art direction and make revisions
• Great attention to detail

The right person should be able to complete production tasks with clear initial instructions and minimal oversight. This position is perfect for a recent college graduate. There are opportunities for advancement and growth for the right candidate.
